Intro

Have you been in a situation where you have tasks you want to do, but you don't have time for them? Does the time to start doing them never come? In this blog post, I discuss how to start doing stuff for which you seemingly do not have time. Interested? If yes, this blog post is for you.

How to Do Tasks You Want When You Do Not Have Time

Let's hear how I solved this problem for one of the tasks I wanted to do. The problem I had was finding time to delete files on my PC and my smartphone. It is bad when a device's memory is near full. Then there may not be enough breathing room for your device in terms of memory, and it may end badly. And actually, it did end badly for my smartphone one time. I had a near-full memory there, and one day it started to behave strangely. I tried to reload the phone, but it just stuck somewhere on the loading screen. It resulted in buying a new phone. It is likely because of the near-full memory I had on my device.

Because I had more important things to do, I didn't want to allocate some time to clean up the devices' memory. But once, I found a solution. What I decided to do is to create a habit of deleting one file on the computer and one file on my phone every day. The result is that I delete two files from my devices every day, with a very small number of days when I fail to do that. With this habit, I am no longer at risk of having a near-full memory, and mentally tuned to clean up memory. I have a goal to find files I want to delete, which sometimes takes some time, but once I identify them, I can easily delete them one by one every day. Of course, it may be a whole directory and not just a file, but it depends on the type of content inside.

You can do a similar thing with tasks you want to do. Just make it small enough to easily and quickly complete. The knowledge about habits primarily comes from a book called "Atomic Habits", where James Clear explains really well a lot of stuff related to habits. To remember what you need to do, you can use an amazing Android app called Loop Habit Tracker. Don't know about the iOS version, though. I already used it for about 1.5 years, and it has been really helpful to keep me on track to completing my goals.

Conclusion

That's it! This is how you can conquer your tasks for which you do not have time. I recommend you start using the Habit Loop Tracker app, because it makes creating habits and following them easier. If you like this article, please share it with someone who might find it interesting too.
